    Beautiful and fun

I have found this easy to germinate and grow on, I am growing it in pots in Yorkshire and it has been blooming heavily. The flowers last a long time both on the plant and in a vase.

    Germination Instructions

Sow indoors prior to last expected frost. Sow directly after danger of frost has passed. Indoors sow into moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 21°C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots and grown on under glass. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed. Directly, sow into moist well-drained soil, keep moist until plants are established.

    Growing Instructions

A very easily grown annual. Prefers any well-drained soil in full sun. Water during dry spells. Do not fertilise as this can lead to leggy plants, with lush foliage but few flowers.

    Cultivation Instructions

Requires little attention. Will be cut down by the first frosts. Harvest seed if required or simply pull and compost.
