DescriptionTalk about Rare!! Finished drawing, in color, of two of his most famous characters Sadness and Joy, from the blockbuster film "Inside Out". To even find simple sketches from the multi-Academy Award-winning Docter is a rare feat. This type of piece is something you never see out in the wild.I was lucky enough to pick this piece up at the Team Cul De Sac charity fundraiser (benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research) at Heroes Con in Charlotte this year. The piece was donated by Pete himself in the memory of Richard Thompson, who we tragically lost too soon to Parkinson's disease. Pete's legacy is well established as a giant in film and animation and he only continues to add to it with every project he puts his hands on. Lucky to own this. Social/Sharing |

Great acquisition and good karma for a charitable cause. Pete Docter is an outstanding creator for his own contributions. He's written on animation and cartoon history as well.
