Owain married Davis in 2006 following a whirlwind six month romance.
The couple were able to marry in St Paul's Cathedral as Lucy's father, Jasper Carrott, was awarded an OBE in the New Year's Honours in 2002.
Prior to their break-up there were reports of the marriage being on the rocks since 2008 as Lucy, who found fame playing Dawn Tinsley on The Office, was spotted out without her wedding ring.

'I struggle with food': Yeoman's ex-wife Lucy recently opened up about her battles with her appearance
Speaking to The Sun recently, Lucy opened up about her struggles with food.
The Office actress famously shed three stone and changed her image in a bid to break the US, but admitted that her appearance is something she has battled her 'whole life'.
The 39-year-old said: 'I struggle with food, I have difficulties with food.'
Davis, who turns 40 in January, revealed that her milestone birthday which is fast approaching has prompted her to get her life back on track.
According to the paper, the British star is hoping her decision to sort out her disorder will help others who face similar problems.
Recognising and accepting the demons in her life, Lucy admitted: 'I had to think maybe it isn't about food or weight - it's something else altogether.'
