He's had incredible success in Hollywood with films such as 2005's Walk The Line with Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix as well as 2010's Knight And Day with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise.
But director James Mangold is now facing some trouble in his personal life.
On Monday TMZ reported the 50-year-old is divorcing his wife of 15 years, film producer Catherine Konrad, 51.

The two worked on several high-profile projects together.
Not only was she involved in Walk The Line and Knight And Day, but they paired up for 2002 film The Sweetest Thing with Diaz and Christina Applegate.
She filed documents earlier this month citing irreconcilable differences.

Konrad is requesting joint physical and legal custody of their two sons aged nine and six as well as spousal support.
Mangold - who is also a screenwriter and producer - has also directed Wolverine, 3:10 To Yuma and Girl, Interrupted.
Wolverine, which he directed in 2012, was a box office hit which grossed over $414m worldwide with a budget of $120m.
Another hit: The duo made a hit of Knight And Day with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise in 2010; the film did OK in the US but made a fortune overseas
