After touring Australia with a theatre company while performing with the Shakespeare Company when he was 22, Oparei said his desire to live in Sydney was the catalyst for the change of direction in his career.

'...I thought I want to live here and I want to stop acting and I want to learn to dance....'

The two stars appeared on morning program Today on Friday live from Perth where they were asked by host Lisa Wilkinson about their most asked fan questions.

Jones, 27, who has played the role of Loras Tyrell since the show's first season in 2011, laughed and refused to answer the question saying: '‘I probably couldn’t say it live on air!’

Scottish lead, Portman, 23, was much more honest in his response.

'A lot of people ask me about how good I am in bed because of the reference to my character’ he chuckled.

In Game Of Thrones, Portman plays Podrick Payne, a character renowned for his sexual prowess.

The show, which has garnered an incredible viewership during its four-year run and has seen celebrities including Queen Elizabeth and President Barack Obama express their affection for the program, is based on the novels written by George R. R. Martin.

The latest season is set to be a special one for the cast and fans alike as it will mark the first time the show has caught up to the novels, meaning the secrets and twists have been hidden from all.

The actors said the unknown excites them, however they joked that the high death rate on the show has them on their toes.

‘We constantly live in fear of what's going to happen…I think we’re OK, touch wood!’ Finn laughed.
