This Morning viewers SLAM 'ridiculous' comparison between Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo's acne and inspiring teen's facial disfigurement

She has openly discussed her struggles with acne and how she has been regularly targeted by nasty trolls.

Yet, Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, 23, has come under fire from this morning viewers after she appeared on Wednesday's show alongside 13-year-old Changing Faces campaigner Nikki Lilly to discuss whether children could see past disfigurement.

Viewers accused the show of trying to compare the MIC star's acne to the teenager's facial disfigurement and blasted the show's decision as 'absolutely ridiculous'.

Vlogger Nikki lives with an AVM (arteriovenous malformation), a rare condition that is characterised by an abnormal connection between arteries and veins while Toff has suffered from acne since she was 17 and subsequently received horrid abuse online for her appearance.

And fans of the show were left furious with the mid-morning stalwart as they felt the need to bring in the Queen of the Jungle celebrity to segment, rather than have Nikki speak about her AVM on her own.

Taking to Twitter one viewer wrote: 'So we are comparing a positive young girl with quite a serious facial "disfigurement" with a nonentity posh "celebrity" with spots? Get real - maybe drop the celeb obsession?'

'This is absolutely ridiculous,' another began. 'Toff should be ashamed that she's comparing her acne to this incredibly brave girl, Nikki.

'Toff can wear makeup and can afford very expensive skin correcting treatments, this girl cannot. Toffs attention seeking again.'

While one angered viewer shared: 'Wow, are they actually comparing acne to a facial disfigurement?? acne is something totally different! Wow, I’m sorry but it seems like toff is desperate for attention'. MailOnline have contacted a rep for This Morning for comment.

Teenager Nikki appeared on the ITV favourite in the wake of a Changing Faces report which revealed that less than a third of young people would be friend with somebody with a visible difference like a scar.

In the same report, one in six have taken a photo of someone with a visible difference or know someone who has.

The campaigner explained that her parents made the decision to turn off comments on her blog, which she started aged 8, until she was 10-years-old but still she faced a barrage of abuse once they lifted it.

Speaking about cruel jibes online, Nikki, who is speaking in Parliament for Face Equality Day, told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: 'I got many, many positive comments which was lovely as it spurred me on to do more.

'I got negative comments saying you’re "ugly", "what is that on your face?", which is disheartening as I'd never had that before.

She added: 'Even though you do grow a stronger skin by getting comments like that, I definitely have. You’ll never be able to 100% look at a comment and say it hasn't got to me.

She said: 'I think my situation differently because I was in the public eye when my spots got bad. It was always the online trolls. It was really bad.

'I just wish when I was growing up I had a role model. The emotional intelligence she has at 13-years-old. As she said trolling is so cowardly. It says so much more about the person.'

Explaining the upset her skin causes, Georgia had addressed the controversial move that saw her bring the make-up product into the jungle, despite it usually being banned, during an appearance on This Morning in December.

The presenter, who was crowned the jungle queen in 2017, has also been the victim of online abuse, with trolls leaving comments about her 'pizza face' and 'enormous craters'.

Georgia is no stranger to speaking openly about her skin struggles, and in an exclusive interview with MailOnline earlier this year she said her ongoing acne problems have reduced her to tears in the past.

She divulged: 'It's a mask that I put on. The thing with confidence is that it can be masked really well. I'm so jolly all of the time and I'm really an extrovert but deep down you can be hiding a few insecurities. So sometimes I shout loudest to cover it up.

'I cry all the time about it (my spots). Some days I have a little cry and I tell myself to pull myself together. Some people have it a lot worse than I do.'
