Chicago PD's Jason Beghe and ex-wife finalize divorce as they split custody of teen sons and divide property in Chicago and Malibu

Chicago P.D. actor Jason Beghe has finalized his divorce from his wife, Angie Janu.

The couple, married 20 years, will share custody of their two teen sons and have split ownership of their properties.

According to TMZ, the estranged pair cemented negotiations over their current properties, which include a Chicago, Illinois condo where Jason will reside, and a Malibu, California estate that Angie will get.

The former couple will also share joint legal as well as physical custody of teenage sons, Bix and Bear, with the boys primarily living with Angie in Malibu while Jason, 59, continues work on his TV show in Illinois.

The court arrangements stipulate that when Beghe and Janu are present with their children, they are not allowed to speak disparagingly of the other parent.

They also are required to let the kids speak to the other parent by phone at least once a day.

Finally, they both have been instructed to maintain civility around each other in front of the children.

Court documents also cover cash and asset distribution to both Jason and Angie, who are splitting up their bank accounts.

However, there's a certain amount of money belonging to Jason that is separate from their arrangement.

The settlement did not include details about child or spousal support.

At the very least, the new arrangement should be convenient for Beghe, who has made a career as Sergeant Hank Voight on Dick Wolf's suite of Windy City-based shows procedural shows, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago Justice and Chicago P.D.

The couple, who tied the knot in the year 2000, filed for divorce in December 2017.

Around the same time, reports surfaced from several sources that Jason, a former Scientologist, exhibited anger management issues on sets where he worked.

While he was also accused of a similar issue back in 2011, after an investigation by NBC and the placement of an anger management coach for Jason's disposal, the situation apparently improved.
