Without question, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been a runaway success.
The game sat atop of the UK videogame charts for several weeks, despite not being a multiplatform release like many rivals vying for its top spot.
But after numerous successful outings and Naughty Dog walking away from the series, what could come next for Nathan Drake and the franchise?
A film adaptation has supposedly been on the cards for some time and talking to Daily Star Online, Uncharted's leading badass, Nolan North, told us that while he'd love the role for himself, he's not sure he's got it in him to play Drake at this stage of his career.
"I wanted the part, back 10 years ago when I was 34/35 doing this kinda thing, but it's taken forever," North told us.
"People who've seen the script are comparing it to Indiana Jones and National Treasure, but there's still a lot of work and truthfully, I think it's got an uphill battle."
Like always the popular actor is full of good humour, but when asked on what sort of involvement North might have should the film finally get the green light, he's surprisingly frank.
"The thing is, I used to want to do it and the producers wanted me to do something in it, but the business of Hollywood dictates that you need a big name on the billboard.
"But I've told them that I really don’t want to do a cameo.
"I’m not going to be a guy who walks into the camera and says 'your drink Mr Drake'
"I don’t need that funny Where's Waldo thing on my CV."
So who could we see lining up as Nathan Drake at the box office? Unsurprisingly, North has an opinion on that too:
"The last I heard Mark Wahlberg was still in the running, but I really don’t see it.
"I thought Chris Pratt would do it justice, but guess what he did it already in Guardians of the Galaxy - that was a Nathan Drake character.
"He’s vulnerable, he’s kinda funny, he’s kinda that hero with a smirk, cocky and confident. That scene when he says "I’m Starlord" that's such a Drake moment.
"From what I can tell he was even offered the role but he turned it down. What does that say?
"Who knows, maybe by the time the producers get it together, I'll be old enough to play Sullivan."
