The Voice UK presenter and his model girlfriend, who have been dating for two years, are yet to set a date for their wedding.
His publicist confirmed the news with a statement reading that the "radio presenter and his model girlfriend of two years are expected to marry".
Ward had already prompted speculation that the couple had got engaged after posting several pictures on Instagram showing a large ring.
Ward captioned one photograph with: "B I R T H D A Y S P A R K L E," adding: "'I have decided to stick with love, hate is too great a burden to bear.' Happy Martin Luther King Day".
