Dominic Cooper has had a pretty stellar career so far – after all, how many actors can boast a CV as diverse as Mamma Mia!, Agent Carter and Preacher?

However, there has been a bit of a downer for the star, who admitted that the worst thing he has ever been told is that he lost out a part to another mega star.

Speaking to The Guardian, Cooper was asked to reveal the worst thing anyone's ever said to him, to which he replied that the words "they're offering it to Tom Hiddleston" weren't exactly his favourites.

Oh gosh, now we really want to know what the part was!

The star also revealed that Danny Dyer would be his dream choice to play him in a film about his life, which we could totally get behind.

As for his best kiss? James Corden. No more needs to be said, though we can believe that seeing as they both got their big breaks in The History Boys together.

Dominic is currently prepping to appear in Mammia Mia: Here We Go Again! alongside many of the stars from the first movie – including former girlfriend Amanda Seyfried.

However, the actor recently revealed that the fact they used to date won't be an issue as they reunite on screen.

"I think it will be fine working with Amanda again," he said. "I haven't spoken to her for a while, but we always remained friends.

"Though it'll be odd, gazing into each other's eyes and singing an ABBA song."
