Former EastEnders actor Matt Di Angelo has confirmed that he's officially engaged after popping the question to his girlfriend of five years Sophia Perry this week.
The couple, who have been dating since 2014, are currently on holiday together, and Matt confirmed the happy news with a post on his Instagram page featuring a picture of pizza, champagne and the all-important engagement ring.
"Got pizza today," he captioned the image.
Sophia also shared a pizza-themed announcement on her own page, showing off her new ring on her own profile as she ate a piece of pizza, captioning the photo: "I 💚 PIZZA... AND MY FIANCÉ."
Well, that just about confirms it all then – congratulations are in order!
Matt is best known for his role as Dean Wicks on the BBC soap, appearing on EastEnders between 2006 and 2008, before returning again a few years later in 2014 for a second stint on the show until 2016.
Shortly after leaving EastEnders, Matt landed a role on BBC One's Ordinary Lies, and shortly after that he made Christine Lampard (and the rest of us) blush when he opened up about filming his steamier scenes on the show.
