Former EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo has announced the arrival of twins.
The actor has shared the first photo of his and wife Sophia Perry's newborn twins, Raphael and Daphne, as part of a heartwarming post on Instagram.
"My beautiful wife @sophiaperry has had two happy and healthy babies and begun raising them. Im in the kitchen trying to work out the steriliser," he wrote.
"Welcome to the world ***Raphael & Daphne*** My dynamic duo. *** 15/08/22***"

Di Angelo and Perry were congratulated by some of their friends from EastEnders, including Jacqueline Jossa, who wrote: "Twins congrats guys !! Love this"
Current EastEnders cast member James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler, also congratulated the new parents: "congratulations mate!! Gorgeous! Love to you all."
Di Angelo and Perry tied the knot in September 2021 in a charming ceremony held at Grosvenor Chapel, London. The newlyweds announced in April that they would be expanding their family.

"'The lottery of life', still a fair way to go but we feel VERY blessed. The boys name will be JACK, and the girls will be POT, " Di Angelo joked on Instagram at the time.
The actor is best known for playing sinister Dean Wicks in the BBC One soap on-and-off between 2006 and 2016.

He has since moved into a leading role in BBC's hit drama Ordinary Lies, and has also appeared in Borgia and Hustle throughout his career.
