It's been revealed that Superman Returns star Brandon Routh will once again prove a man can fly in this year's Arrowverse crossover.
Nope – we're not joking.
According to Deadline, Routh isn't the only Superman in town for 'Crisis on Infinite Earths', as Supergirl's Tyler Hoechlin will also play his version of the Man of Steel in this crazy crossover – with them both existing in alternate timelines.

Routh is already a piece of the Arrowverse puzzle – he portrays Ray Palmer AKA The Atom in DC's Legends of Tomorrow – so his Superman appearance will definitely bring about a few scratches of the head.
'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will unite every man and his dog from the Arrowverse for five epic episodes. This includes superheroes such as The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Ruby Rose's Batwoman.

The first three instalments are set to air this December, whilst the remaining two will debut in January 2020.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned Batwoman actress revealed earlier today (July 19) that she's unfortunately had to drop out of this weekend's SDCC panel.
She's promised to "make it up" to her fans, though.
