Donnie Wahlberg's upcoming wedding to Jenny McCarthy will not be a full family affair.
His little brother, fellow actor Mark Wahlberg, 43, is unable to attend the nuptials. His rep told E! News that Mark had a prior commitment—his daughter's birthday party, which takes place in Los Angeles. Ella, his and wife Rhea Durham's eldest child, turns 11 in a few days. The two are also parents to two sons and another daughter.
On Saturday, Mark posted a tweet and Instagram video congratulating his brother and his soon-to-be bride.
Congratulations @DonnieWahlberg and @JennyMcCarthy, so happy for you both today.

Donnie would later show his appreciation for the thoughtful message.
Thank you @mark_wahlberg. Thanks to you & @rheadur for the adorable video for me & Jenny! Please wish a Happy B-Day to my god daughter Ella!

McCarthy and Donnie have not made their wedding date or location public. She had told E! News in May that she hoped to wed Donnie in New York in several months.
Donnie, 45, stars on CBS' Blue Bloods and is also known as one of the five members of New Kids on the Block. Mark was part of the pop group during its early days and left months later. In the early 1990s, he performed and recorded music with his own hip-hop group, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, before concentrating on his acting career. Donnie served as one of their songwriters and producers.
The two also have four other brothers—Robert, Arthur, Jim and Paul, a chef and their business partner and co-star of the A&E reality show Wahlburgers, which focuses on their burger restaurant in their native Boston. They also have two sisters, Michelle and Tracey; and three half siblings, Donna, Scott and Buddy.
