The colossal steel beasts defied gravity in a jaw-dropping spectacle that left hearts pounding, unleashing mayhem and unparalleled thrills. 

Monstrous machine stunts leave the audience breathless

“Monster Trucks: Most Wanted” launched into the first of three electrifying shows, demonstrating incredible feats of power and precision. The earth trembled as these machines took flight, with each ride costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. With tires compressing like bed springs upon landing, these mechanical titans took flight. 

It seemed as if they were momentarily escaping the laws of physics, despite each truck weighing over 12,000 pounds. The Bridgers, bathed in the sun’s warmth, provided a breathtaking backdrop. Witnessing these gigantic machines bounce with a resounding thud was nothing short of astonishing.

The drivers, with a twist of the wheel, sent their mighty machines rocketing across the arena. During the intermission, brave attendees got a lucky opportunity to ride in passenger-friendly monster trucks. This event was undoubtedly a family affair, with children running wild and parents sharing in the excitement. Bozeman resident Jake Carroll summed up the spirit while sharing his son’s amusement, “Watching him get excited, he loves monster trucks.” The excitement was palpable, infecting young and old alike.

Freestyle champions with thrills beyond the truck

Familial connections ran deep behind the scenes. Driver Justin Murphy shared insights on entering the sport through his brother Jeff, another performer at the event. “My brother owns Fatal Attraction, and I started tagging along with him,” he mentioned. 

The duo journeyed together from Louisiana, ready to unleash their powerful machines in Bozeman. Standing alongside one of his marvelous beasts with tires worth $3,450, Jeff expressed his thoughts, stating, “That’s anybody’s game because everybody here just throws down.” Justin Murphy was seen piloting the green behemoth ‘Prime Time’.

Although he lacked his brother’s experience of 15 years, Justin was no stranger to diverse wild stunts. “I flipped and landed upside down after being about 40 to 50 feet in the air, landing on concrete,” he narrated while recollecting a previous incident. 

The show wasn’t limited to four wheels. A team of four dirt bike riders took to the air, launching themselves 70 feet above the crowd. Mind-boggling stunts like Superman, the seat grab, and Captain Morgan enthralled the spectators. Johnny Davenport, steering Girl Power and Ghost Ryder, joined the action. These trucks, owned by legendary driver Larry Quick, delivered thrills of their own. Haida Holscher, a visitor from New York, captured the mood perfectly. “The bikes stressed me out, they were flipping in the air!”, she said. 

Gallatin County Fairgrounds witnessed a heart-pounding extravaganza at the event, where families cheered, tires flew, and adrenaline flowed. In the end, it was more than just a truck show. “Monster Trucks: Most Wanted” created a symphony of horsepower, courage, and boundless enthusiasm.
