Word has been received of the death Monday of Edward E Sharp, 70, in Seattle, Washington, at the home of his son, Russell. Mr Sharp had been ill for a year and death was of a stroke.
The body will be brought to the Avey Funeral Home where the time of services will be announced later.
Mr Sharp had lived in Marshalltown until a year ago, is survived by his widow and six children, George of New York City, Glenn of Laurel, Kenneth in Wisconsin, Ben of Marshalltown, Mrs Betty Bittner of Garwin and Russell in Seattle. There are also 14 grandchildren.
