Walter Stuart, 86, of Carlisle, former president of the Farmers Trust Company with which he was associated for 50 years, and father of W. Searight Stuart, Carlisle, Cumberland county Republican chairman, died Friday in Carlisle Hospital.
Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ellen Ployer Stuart; another son, J. Bruce Stuart, Boston; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
