Bright green phyllodes are curved and sickle shaped, with multiple parallel veins. Can reach up to 18 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. Juvenile foliage is bipinnate.

Narrow light brown pods up to 20 cm long and 0.7 cm wide follow the flowers. As they age the pods become coiled and twisted.
