Lyreleaf Sage is a long-lived, reseeding, perennial, evergreen, ground-covering wildflower that blooms in the spring and summer. Lyreleaf likes sun to shade and dry to wet (well-drained) soils. The purple flowers attract hummingbirds as well as other pollinators like butterflies. The young leaves are edible and the plant is used medicinally.
