This is a prostrate shrub with trailing stems that makes an attractive and effective groundcover, especially tumbling down over rockeries.
The grey-green leaves are small, deeply lobed and divided.
The fern-like nature of the leaves give the plant soft appearance and increases the ground cover effect.
The pretty flowers are red, being borne on small upright racemes.
Grevillea humifusa suits a mediterranean climate (like WA) with dry summers, it does not do so well in areas with very humid summers - though NSW, ACT and Victoria are reasonably suitable.
