Acacia cardiophylla 'Gold Lace' is a prostrate form of Acacia cardiophylla that makes and excellent ground cover while producing typically colourful yellow blossom in mid winter.
It gets its name from the fern-like leaves made up of multiple heart shaped leaflets in 12-18 pairs.
This is a hardy plant that can withstand some frost and neglect.
It will go well in most native style gardens while also looking good cascading over rocks or low walls.
