Temerario Restaurant Review:

Temerario’s brick walls, bright street art and huge painted logo define its space that consists of tables and a friendly bar with colorful lighting. The Chelsea-based restaurant from The Black Ant and Ofrenda team brings you a menu that’s equally friendly, with Mexican street food like tacos, crispy elote fries and ceviche to share as starters, and more tacos and larger plates to follow. A smoky jalapeño margarita will help set the vibe as you tuck into carne asada, a grilled New York strip steak, glazed with cascabel chiles; or a chile relleno stuffed with quinoa wild rice, cranberries and zucchini, a contemporary Mexican-influenced option for non-meat eaters. The happy hour “bites” menu and a selection of artisanal sorbets and ice creams with unusual flavors such as avocado and chicharron or goat’s milk salted caramel round out the fiesta feel.
