Ferguson tractor

Ferguson tractors like this one will be featured at the Antique Farm Power Steam & Gas Show today through Sunday at the LaGrange County 4-H Fairgrounds.

LAGRANGE — The Northeast Indiana Steam & Gas Association will host its 33rd annual Antique Farm Power Steam & Gas Show today through Sunday at the LaGrange County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1030 E. 075 North, LaGrange.

Not only will the show feature Ferguson tractors and equipment, but it will be hosting the Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America National Expo. The national Ferguson Expo draws members from around the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom each year.

Highlights will include a tractor drive through Amish country today beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a plowing demonstration 1 1/2 miles south of Emma on C.R. 600 West at approximately 1 p.m.

Other featured activities include interest sessions on tune ups, timing, rear axle seals and brakes and hydraulic pump maintenance.

An unusual feature of all Ferguson Expos is the tractor build, during which a disassembled Ferguson TO20 tractor is assembled by a team of four using only hand tools. Some teams have completed the assembly in fewer than 20 minutes.

Saturday events will continue with tractor builds and more interest sessions, a benefit auction at noon for the club and a banquet/annual business meeting that evening at 6:30.
