Despite our best efforts to convince guys otherwise, in 2016 travel style comes down to one thing: comfort. It's why virtually all of our airport-style gods are spotted leaving baggage claim in outfits that are easy to throw on, hard to wrinkle, and mostly chill AF.

But Laurence Fishburne may have just pulled out in front of all of them.

The Oscar nominee and Black-ish star was seen leaving LAX in one of the coziest looks ever to deplane in the City of Angels: a navy blue pajama-like set featuring a tunic top, black slip-on sneakers, and a wine-colored scarf. The look was heavy on the "Duke of Edinburgh getting a midnight snack at Sandringham House" vibes.

What's admirable about this look—other than the devil-may-care attitude that Fishburne wears it with—is that it's stylish and practical at the same time. Instead of the oversized-sweatpants-and-baggy-T-shirt combination that's seen all too often in American airports, the actor chose a look that's actually made to be worn together and then accessorized it with functional pieces. Those slip-ons must have been really easy to take off and put back on at security, and the scarf is big enough to double as a blanket in those famously chilly first-class cabins.

Before you leave for your next flight, take a page from Fishburne's book and ask yourself, "What is this outfit actually doing for me?" If the answer is "not much," come back to this page for a reminder about what works.
