As winter lingers (and East Coast residents ponder a migration to L.A., with sun and top notch eats), the age-old conundrum of how to dress up when it's cold as hell out lingers with it. Luckily we have Gods of Egypt (but really Game of Thrones) star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to show us the exact right way to handle it.
Coster-Waldau starts with a solid base—dress pants, a white button-up and a repp tie, and a Baldwin cardigan—which strikes the perfect business/casual mix. But it's the finishing touches where he really sells it. On top, bam, a parka, a move that we not only approve of, we have definitely seen before. The shoes? Sneakers, which, again, is a swerve we're familiar with. The actor wisely opted for dress sneakers, not your run-of-the-mill runners. They're sporty, but don't throw the entire outfit off-kilter (aka old man territory). It's a victory in seasonal dressing worthy of the Kingslayer (but, like, Season 1 Jaime when he still had that hand, and hair, and respect...)
