TOP SECRET TV CAST
Bill Cosby and Gloria Foster sign their names on a still from Top Secret
Photograph signed: "Bill Cosby", "Gloria Foster", B/w 7x9. A still from the 1978 television film Top Secret. BILL COSBY (b. 1937) is credited with breaking the color barrier for Black comedians. After finding success on the comedy club circuit, he made the first of six consecutive Grammy Award-winning recordings, I Started Out as a Child, in 1964. The following year, Cosby became the first Black to star in a television drama series. He won three Emmy Awards for his role as Agent Alexander (Scotty) Scott opposite Robert Culp in I Spy (1965-1968). Remembered as Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show (1984-1992), the actor has starred in other television series and films. He has authored humorous books, beginning with the best-selling Fatherhood in 1986. In 1998, he was honored by the Kennedy Center for his work in the performing arts. GLORIA FOSTER (1933-2001) was most known for her stage performances, winning several awards during her career, including Obies, a Theatre World Award, and a Drama Desk Award. She played critically acclaimed roles in the plays In White America and Having Our Say. However, despite her proficiency in theatre, she is best remembered for her role as The Oracle in The Matrix (1999) and it's sequel, The Matrix Reloaded (2003). Corners slightly worn.
