Richard Jenkins took home the Emmy for lead actor in a limited series or movie for his performance in Olive Kitteridge at Sunday night’s ceremony.
Jenkins beat out Adrien Brody (Houdini), Ricky Gervais (Derek), Timothy Hutton (American Crime), David Oyelowo (Nightingale) and Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall) to win the award.
Lady Gaga presented the award to the Oscar-nominated actor, who took the stage and spent his speech thanking the women involved in the HBO project, especially Frances McDormand, who earlier in the night took home the Emmy for lead actress in a limited series or movie.
The 67th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
