His first painting sold for a phenomenal £14,000 when he was just six years old, and now, 15-year-old artist Kieron Williamson will be appearing at this year's prestigious Chelsea Flower Show to produce a series of commissioned paintings.

Kieron, from Norfolk, is one of the world's most sought-after professional young artists, and following his first painting nine years ago, his work has been secured for many prestigious private collections, including royalty.

Next month, Kieron – often nicknamed as ‘Mini Monet’ – will be appearing at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show as part of a new partnership with Hillier, one of the most successful exhibitors in the history of the show.

Hillier has commissioned Kieron to paint a series of pieces portraying their STIHL Inspiration garden. The garden will take on a more rustic theme with corten steel throughout, and orange and blue flowering plants to add warmth alongside the traditional feature of Hillier’s mature trees.

Lead designer Sarah Eberle has deliberately created a walkway through the garden to provide greater interaction, and the garden will be broken down into a number of smaller themed sections where visitors can take direct inspiration for their own outdoor space.

After the show, Kieron’s paintings will be auctioned online to raise money for Hillier’s charity partner, The Wessex Cancer Trust, so you could even be in with the chance of owning one!

'So much of my work so far has been inspired by the outdoors and nature so I’m really looking forward to painting the Hillier garden,’ said Kieron, who was worth £2 million at the age of 14.

'The Chelsea Flower Show is such a famous event and a great new challenge for me whilst also helping an important charity in the Wessex Cancer Trust. The plans for the garden look great; I’m really looking forward to seeing this year’s creation come to life – there is certainly lots to inspire me!’

George Hillier, one of the fifth generation of Hillier family members to be involved in the business, added: 'Here at Hillier we pride ourselves on inspiring future generations so our partnership with Kieron is perfect synergy. His work is astounding for an artist of any age, yet alone for a 15 year old. We’re incredibly excited to be working with him and can’t wait to see his artwork of our Stihl Inspiration garden.'

The Chelsea Flower Show is open to the public from 22 - 26 May. Tickets are available to buy here.
