Odd, my receipt has both names? Maybe I was misinformed about a name change, or misunderstood...(edit) just checked Conifer Kingdom website -that's where there is a note about the name change.

P. fenzeliana is very different, with needles twice as long, and broader cones with thicker, woody scales; it is more similar to P. armandii. The problem arises because one prominent conifer taxonomist failed to study specimens of P. fenzeliana properly.
Yes, it will definitely outgrow my yard. Dear husband stopped by Conifer Kingdom and this was an impulse buy. He still got everything on my list, so I can't be mad at him.
I guess that's what I get for taking him to the Coenosium Garden at South Seattle Community College. He hasn't been the same since. :o)
