Interesting. I would think that C. mannii in Vietnam would be further south though. I will post a pic of it soon.

No - I haven't found a source for C. griffithii. I do have bonafide C. mannii. It is from plagiotropic cuttings so only horizontal growth. The foliage is nice though.

Yes thats from a side branch need to get some seed in.
Ive also seen c mannii.My plant been ok so far in a
cold frame with -6C 22F.

Assuming "Western Europe" includes e.g. W France, NW Spain and N Portugal, then yes, hardy in Western Europe!
