Amorpha ouachitensis (Ouachita False Indigo)

Amorpha ouachitensis is a medium-sized shrub in the Fabaceae
family. This rare, native species is
only found in Arkansas and Oklahoma (see BONAP map for county distributions),
and usually grows in clearings along streams or on floodplains. It flowers in the Apr-Jun period.
