• Flower: Yellow daisy-like, flower head “nods” down as it ages
• Leaves: Long lance like, stalkless, arranged oppositely
• Fruit/Seed: Seed-like, 4 pronged, toothed
• Height: 1-3 feet
• Flowering: August - October
• Habitat: Swamps and wet ground
