A 360 degree shooter, and more you play it, the better it gets. The game doesnt start to show it's true style until after level 100, and by then the single player mode becomes fast and fun; although not quite as frantic as Photon Storm. I guess there are 200 levels, and you have infinite continues thanks to passwords. The power up's cost a fortune by the later stages, and I only had the x3 way fire by level 111.

Once again, an indie game shows that there is no need of technical achievement to create a great game. Transplant smells like an 8 bit game but make no mistake, it's really smooth with great gameplay and it's fast, really fast.
I think Transplant's efficiency is based on the small size of the objects, allowing the screen to offer a wider playfield. This makes the game much less unpredictable than in other games of this kind, mostly commercials, like Amnios, Awesome or Blastar. Having the radar around the ship makes it particularly functional. It's a really ingenious idea. All of this helps make Transplant fun to play where others have often been unplayable and frustrating.
The 2 player mode in co-op adds greatly to the game interest and lifetime. And the title music is wonderful. Surely one of the best free games available on Amiga

I totally forgot this little gem. Smooth 360 degrees scrolling and superb playability. Looks like nothing special, but it is definitely worth a try.

This is one of those games that has no right being as addictive as it is. A ton of fun with a buddy

OMG! My brother and I must have spent months playing this game back in '93. It's gotta be tried just for the sheer playability. Lovely Stuff.

Yep, I got a shareware floppy just to get this game. Was NOT disappointed. First game of its type that we played, I believe. Hell of a great time! Loaded many many times.

I played this game to bits at the time. One of the better PD releases IMHO!

Ugly graphics, simple gameplay and MUCH FUN! It's like an ugly woman you fell in love with because of sex.

I remember having this years ago, and to think it was on a coverdisk. Simplicity rules the roost for gameplay again I think!

Think Asteroids with a wide variety of enemy ships, numerous upgrades for your own ship, onscreen radar, multiple large levels, a password system and even a two player option. This is a PD game that offers more hours of fun than many commercial releases.
