I am not very good at this type of game, but my word look at it! I have had a few goes purely for the visuals only to get my ass kicked. I don't know of any CD32 enhancements over the floppy AGA version but this one sure looks great. I have to add that it's me that sucks and not the gameplay or controls. (8/10)

Banshee is the best vertical shooter on the Amiga and this applies to CD32 as well but they did not make any effort to take advantage of the CD capabilities. It looks like they recorded on track the floppy version's tunes and no ingame music yet. Sadly, this shovelware attitude was commonplace during the dying days of Commodore when this game came out. Still a masterpiece, but less impressive here (8/10).

Not very original. The game is well crafted but it's not running at full frame rate which in my book is a fatality, especially for a shmup.

This is absolutly amazing shoot'em up. Attention to details in the graphics area is awesome. Four huge levels with hundreds of enemies to destroy. Also for 2 players simultaneously. Core Design at most times rocks!

I bought the floppy version and regretted it ever since. Still, a great game!

I am sure this shmup plays better in 2P mode. As for the 1P one, here is my opinion :
With a few more original ideas thrown in (Banshee borrowed A LOT from the coin'op "1942", a soundtrack, and more appealing powerups, this would have been an real classic. A missed opportunity... Still a fun game to play if you happen to ignore the arcade madness of the late 80s.

Could anyone tell me what the differences are between this and the floppy ones? Different Graphics and Gameplay at-all?

Hard, but not impossible. I completed the game with a friend, without cheats.

An amazing shoot 'em up with furious gameplay, lots and lots of different enemies, amazing graphics and - at least on the CD32 - an awesome title theme. Someone really sweated over those graphics. Is it me or is the status bar on the left side of the screen inspired by Chaos Engine?

This was a classic in shoot em ups alongside some others in the making. This game was AGA based & had some lovely GFX and sound, I think it has to be on eof the best games in Amiga history.

Maybe the last great game for Amiga. The best clone of 1943 I ever did see.
