Alarm Buzzer
The alarm buzzer will be continuously whistling if
there is abnormal registaration such as erroneous key
operation, capacity error, etc.
The buzzer also makes a short whistling sound
every time a numeric key
is
depressed, so that you may
confirm your operation.
1. Capacity error

2. Errors in key operation
Key operation other than the following will
lock the machine electronically and cause the
buzzer to sound.
2-1) Keys permitted for operation in X or Z mode

2-2) In case of REG mode
a) Keys that can be operated without
previous amount entry

b) Keys that can not be operated after depart-
ment entry
c) Key that can not be operated after an
amount entry
3) Over tendering for charge key than the amount
purchased will cause the buzzer sound.
4) Key buffer overflow
ECR 160 has 4 key steps of key buffer.
If
key
buffer overflows, an error will occur.
5) Depressing of department
after manual tax
entry will result in error.
Note: Capacity of total memory is shown below.
In case of over-capacity, the figures printed
are effective while the excess digit is disregarded.
Key operation is not locked.
