    1. RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION 1) Make sure you are using the proper power (115V/60Hz , 220V/50 Hz or 240V/50 Hz) as stated on the name plate. 2) Your typewriter is a highly sophisticated machine.     3. ACCESSORY INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL 3.1 Ribbon Cassette 1. Removing Ribbon Cassette 1) Turn off the machine. 2) Open the Top Cover of the typewriter. Figure 3.1-a 3) Push the Cassette Release Lever toward the rear of the machine (Figure 3.1-a) 4) Place your fingers on the Cassette as shown in Figure 3.1-b and remove the Cassette by pulling it straight up.
