Neighbours' Rachel Kinski actress looks unrecognisable 13 years later. Caitlin Stasey left the Aussie soap opera - which comes to an end in the UK on July 29 - in 2009.

Now 32, she first appeared on the show as fresh-faced Rachel in 2005 when she was 14 years old. She was the youngest daughter of Alex Kinski and sister of Zeke and Katya Kinski.

Caitlin grew up before our eyes on Ramsay Street as her character attended school for the first time and had romances with Stingray and Ty Harper. Since leaving the soap, she has been married and continued to act.

Caitlin Stasey is all grown-up after leaving Neighbours

Rachel first arrived in Erinsborough with her family. Her earliest storylines revolved around the grief of losing her mother, and Alex ended up throwing out Katya after she lashed out at her young sister. Rachel and Zeke were then enrolled at Erinsborough High School to help them have more of a normal teenage life.

She was picked on at first, but quickly made friends with Bree Timmins. After lying about her age, she began to have a secret relationship with an older boy, Jake Rinter. She also later had a secret relationship with her teacher, Angus but he was eventually sent to jail. After his early release, Rachel lived with him briefly before he moved away.

She also had a fling with Stingray before a final romance with Ty Harper. After Rachel received a scholarship to study in London, they initially broke up. But Ty soon realised he loved her and rushed to see her at the airport before later joining her. Caitlin departed the soap in March 2009.

Do you recognise Rachel from Neighbours now?

The actress chose to leave Neighbours as she wanted to be able to focus on her studies, and her end of year exams at school. Having already appeared as Francesca 'Frankie' Thomas in children's TV show, The Sleepover Club, before the soap, acting roles continued to follow.

She took the lead role in the film adaptation of teen novel, Tomorrow, When the War Began. Between 2013 and 2015, she played Kenna, a lady-in-waiting to Mary, Queen of Scots, in the American TV show, Reign. She also had a recurring role in Australian show, Please Like Me.

Caitlin has also featured in films, All Cheerleaders Die and I, Frankenstein as well as drama series APB and For The People. Currently, she is playing the role of Jill in comedy drama, Bridge and Tunnel, which just released its second season.

The actress previously married American actor Lucas Neff in 2016 but the pair divorced in 2020. Over 13 years since she left the soap, she looks all grown up from the young Rachel who graced our screens - but she still rocks gorgeous brunette locks and has a snake tattoo on her wrist.

Beloved Aussie soap Neighbours is set to air its finale tomorrow, Friday July, 29 on Channel 5. Caitlin shared a tribute to the show and long-running cast member, Jackie Woodburn. She wrote on Instagram: "Let me tell you something about this here babe - Jackie Woodburne - in the years I spent on Neighbours I met some very special, very wacky people and Jackie was by far the least wacky (most of the time) and the most special. However she made you feel as Susan Kennedy cannot compare to how she makes you feel as herself.

"She was my favourite teammate and working with her is still a career highlight for me. After all the years she spent in that same studio on those same sets she still cared massively about her work and her character, (Susan Kennedy Smith Kinski Kennedy) She’s been an onscreen mum and step mum to about 20 odd young Australians and I feel so lucky and privileged to have been a part of that club.

"Off set she’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. Neighbours ending is weird, sad and confusing but one thing I certainly know is that Jackie is a legend above and beyond this institution and I wish her the very best in the whole wide world."
