Scindapsus plants are vining plants that can climb or trail, depending on how they are trained and supported. The leaves are typically heart-shaped and have a glossy texture. In the "Aurea Yellow Variegated" variety, the leaves would display a variegation pattern with yellow or golden patches, streaks, or edges on a background of green. Scindapsus plants prefer to be kept evenly moist but not overly waterlogged. Allow the top inch or two of the soil to dry out between waterings. They generally prefer bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions as well. However, for optimal variegation, some light is needed to maintain the yellow or golden coloration in the leaves.
