The Capes Floral Beauty

The Cape Floral Kingdom is world-renowned for its floral diversity with many of these plants having an extremely limited global distribution. The bulbous Cyrtanthus guthrieae for example, is range restricted to just a few hilly slopes around the Overberg town of Bredasdorp. In addition the colour, diversity and complex sprouting and pollination strategies of many of these flowering plants are absolutely dazzling and quickly cause their viewers to become addicted to wanting to learn more about them.
