Acrodon bellidiflorus Acrodon bellidiflorus N.E. Brown 1927 This is the type species for the genus. The large flowers are pale pink with a dark pink stripe along the middle of the petals and a central mass of pink staminodes surrounding the stamens. Native to coastal South Africa where it receives both Summer and Winter rainfall.
