Luminous moss (Schistostega pennata), also called goblin's gold. It's known for its glowing appearance as its specialized cells in the protonema collect the faintest light so this species can grow in dark places like this cave. It is found in China, Japan, Siberia, Europe, and North America. I got to wade into the cave to get samples, being the only one in my group to be wearing wellies ... therefore getting the best sample ;) A slate quarry, Wales, UK.
