White Bird of Paradise -- Strelitzia nicolai or Strelitzia alba

I have mothered this plant for eight years, and this is the first time it's bloomed. Several years ago I stuck an artificial blossom in the planter to give this Bird an idea of what it was suppose to do, but, since it was an orange and blue one,the hint wasn't taken. Can anyone tell me the difference between Strelitzia nicolai and Strelitzia alba?
