Walton Goggins, the actor best known for his work in Django Unchained, The Shield and Justified, will co-star in 2018’s live-action Tomb Raider film. Details are light at this stage, but the series’ Twitter account confirmed that Goggins will star opposite Oscar winner Alicia Vikander, who’s stepping into the role of Lara Croft.

Goggins will play Croft’s antagonist, a role as of yet unnamed. Attached to the tweet announcing his involvement was a post Goggins shared on Instagram, showing off a very appropriate-looking piece of headwear:
Sounds like Goggins will get to do some tomb raiding himself in the film, which marks Lara Croft’s return to theaters after more than 15 years away. Angelina Jolie originated the role in two popular, if poorly received, films: 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003’s Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
While Daisy Ridley of Star Wars fame was first rumored to take over for Jolie in the reboot, Vikander assumed the role in April 2016, three years after pre-production began. Roar Uthaug is directing the film, which is produced by Warner Bros., MGM and GK Films.
