Hygrochilus parishii var. purpureus
small, epiphytic orchid
tropical forest, 800m
I spotted this orchid near the visitors centre in Nam Nao national park. It's not a great photo as it was high on a tree and the wind kept blowing branches in front of it obscuring good views. I hope it's enough for an ID at least to genus.

Thanks for the ID sebastian. Great to have another orchidophile on Noah. Can you take a look at some of my other unidentified orchids when you get a chance. I appreciate it.
Hi, it is Hygrochilus parishii var. purpureus

Thanks Craig, I appreciate the search. I know you love the orchid challenge!
Hmmm........ My first guess would've been a Phal, for sure but can't find a species match at the moment. Will try and have a better look tomorrow. Nice spot!
