This is the pattern for the cricket sweater worn by Peter Davison’s incarnation of the Doctor (from the television show Doctor Who).

The sweater is knitted flat, in pieces, and seamed together at the end. The main body is knitted first, back and front separately, with shaping for the armholes, Then the sleeves are knitted and joined to the body before the neckband is added.

You will need the yarn amount listed in white (the pattern lists amounts in terms of 50-gram balls, calling for 8-9 skeins depending on the size of sweater) plus small amounts in brown, black, and red for the stripes.
