I'd argue the U.S doesn't have a progressive party.
We have a party who is drooling and dreaming over the possibility of fascism, and the other desperately clinging to the status quo. Both of which are bought and paid for by corporate interests.
Considering the President of the United States, a Democrat, is responsible for openly enabling the continued genocide of Palestinians, it seems disengenous AT BEST to try to distance your party from the fallout of this situation.
