My setup is boring in comparison, this thread may inspire me.

Desktop:
i7 7700 @ 4.2ghz
GTX 1080
16gb ram

Laptop:
17.3" 1080p @100hz
i7 7700 @ 2.8 ghz
GTX 1070
16gb ram

Stuff:
Apex Predator 35" 21:9 Curved Ultrawide Monitor @ 3440 x 1440 200hz
Razer mechanical keyboard and mouse.
Blue Snowball mic
Arctis Steele Series 5
JBL Flip Four speaker
Xbox Elite Controller
La-z-boy fat guy chair
Honeywell Quiet Set personal fan
kitty cat mouse pad
And for those looking super closely... Lexapro, 10mg

I should get rid of the laptop because having both is overkill... but on the odd occasion i do game portably, like i did yesterday, and Im getting 60fps 1080p Wolfenstein... man, it's nice. I may add a second monitor as well, 4k 28". Not 100% sure yet though.

I will probably be swapping out my case for something with a tempered glass panel here soon. The H440 is just a bit ugly these days.
Wow I'm just in love with that monitor stand, can you link the model if it's not custom made?

I am amazed at all the towers placed on the desks. Any reason they are not on the floor (especially if you have hardwood)?

To reiterate Mounsieur's Orange first point about dust: I don't know where I heard it first(or if it's true), but the higher something off the floor - the less dust settles on it. So basically less cleaning for me.
Also the fact that I have lots of space on my desk, and ALL DEM RGB LEDS NEED TO BE SEEN, YO. So there's that too.

Case: Fractal Design Define S with 4x140mm fans - there a couple minor things i'd change like being able to remove the bottom filter from the front and easier removal of the top moduvents. Overall really happy with the case.
Monitor: (not pictured) BenQ RL2455HM 1080p 60hz. - I did buy a 1440p monitor but wasn't happy with it so went back to this one. I now mostly downsample from 1440p. Holding out for a 4K 60hz monitor.
Motherboard: MSI Z170A-G43+ - does the job. what can i say?
CPU: i7-6700K - runs at 4.5 which is the best i can do. 4.6 is asking too much so i guess i got unlucky. Don't feel any need to upgrade it any time soon.
Cooler: Cryorig R1 - originally had a Coolermaster 212X but wanted something better. with the R1 temps are about 19-24C at normal usage. Intel Burn Test at Max doesn't go over 74C (vs 83C on the 212X).
GPU: MSI Gaming X 1070 8GB - no complaints. when overclocked it very rarely goes over 70C and stays quiet. very happy with it.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB 3200 (running at 2666) - i wish i had gone for 32GB now but this will do for now. 3200 was too unstable (not sure why). highest i got was 2933 but just went to 2666.
SSD: Samsung 1TB SATA3 SSD - great ssd. need more space though! will probably replace this with a m.2 when the time comes.
HDD: (not pictured) WD 1TB Blue 7200RPM - this was the first drive i put in because i couldn't afford an SSD but put it back in as a secondary because my SSD is quickly filling up.
PSU: EVGA 750W Supernova G2 - 750W is overkill for this system I know but this was in my old PC which needed more power. At least I know it's not being stressed too much and I'll hopefully get a good run out of it. Might even keep it for my next build.
OS: Windows 10 (1709) - eh it's windows. I tried installing Linux but apparently Windows doesn't like to share drives.

Controller: Xbox 360 Wired
Mouse: Gigabyte M6900
Keyboard: Corsair K65
Speakers: Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II
Headset: HyperX Cloud Pro

GPU: GTX 1070 MSI Armor.
RAM: 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 3000MHz - running @ 3200 MHz.
Motherboard: MSI XPower Gaming Titanium.

Cooler: Corsair H115i AiO.
PSU: Enermax Revolution 85+ 1000 W.
Storage: Samsung 128GB SSD + 2x 2TB HDD.

Media: 1x LG DVD Writer + 1x LG Blu-ray Writer.
OS: Windows 10 Pro.
Monitor : Sony Bravia LX903 40" 1080p / 3D TV - Spare TV when I upgraded to a 4k TV, so thought I'd put it to use. Nice big screen for gaming and movies.

Sure thing. I'm using 2 of these.

Can hold my 3440x1440 no problem, and comes with some nice ways to manage cables.

Case on desk masterrace right here.

- Easier to access when I need to
- I use the USB ports on my case a lot, so it's nice to have them nearby
- Look nice
- I have the room so why not?
- More dust and worse airflow on carpet

Oh so the one on the left is for your second screen?
I thought it was a two legged frame for one screen, you positioned them so well I was certain about it lol.
I'll stay with my pricey Ergotech for now, but good to know that a cheaper option can hold your a 34-inch ultrawide.

Nah. Sorry if that wasn't obvious. I couldn't find a single monitor arm that could hold both of my screens like this for less than $50. So this worked out for me.

Hah no harm done(Except maybe those 40 minutes I spent on Amazon trying to find the mysterious two-legged frame), it turned out super pleasing to the eye anyway so I'll say it definitely worked out well for you.

Not gonna post specs but here's my desk.

It's a high-end gaming PC mainly used for my VR setup, Destiny 2 and Diablo 3. But it's also a workhorse with fast and reliable storage for all my digital and film photography. I just need to get a better screen for editing. I require something more color accurate and with a bit depth higher than 6, but DAT 144HZ FOR GAMES MAN. I mostly use my work's MacBook Pro for critical color editing.

I also write a lot by hand using fountain pens and paint in water colours, so it's not just all computery stuff.

That's really cool.
How long did it take you, and how hard would you say it would be for someone with minimal PS training?
I would like to maybe try something along these lines, but don't really know where to start.

I felt so proud of the way I done my cable management then I come in here and see these. Sigh.

Do you need to upload pics from a dedicated site or can you do it like you can with your profile pic, I haven't a clue how to put pictures on my posts.
