They grow wild here and stay very dry even though the get a lot moisture. Their roots plaster themselves to smooth barked tree limbs like on orange trees (citrus) and they tend to form clumps with a lot of aerial roots. So the roots stay very dry and exposed. It may grow well mounted or just sitting in a pot without media.
