When is Brighton Pride 2022? Parade route, festival lineup, and ticket prices

Brighton Pride, one of the most popular pride events in the UK, is back this weekend.

From August 5 until August 7, the people from the LGBTQ+ community will gather in Brighton to enjoy a pride parade plus a series of events and performances from major artists.

Around 300,000 people are expected to watch the pride parade march through Brighton’s streets on Saturday, ahead of the official Brighton & Hove Pride charity fundraiser event, We Are Fabuloso.

Plus, businesses in Kemptown will celebrate by throwing a Pride Village Party to raise money for Brighton Rainbow Fund and Pride Social Impact Fund.

Brighton Pride parade route and timings

The Brighton Pride parade will take place on Saturday, August 6. A delayed celebration of the 30th anniversary of Brighton Pride, the theme this year is Love, Protest & Unity.

It will begin at Hove Lawns at 11am and will head along the seafront, before turning up West Street through to North Street. It will head along London Road towards Preston Park for the We Are Fabuloso event.

When is We Are Fabuloso?

The community fundraising event We Are Fabuloso in Preston Park is taking place on Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7.

Saturday’s main stage lineup is as follows:

Brighton Pride We Are Fabuloso tickets and prices

Tickets for Saturday’s festival start at £54.50 while tickets for Sunday start at £37.50. A weekend ticket costs £67.50.

We Are Fabuloso tickets are currently on sale, but when this wave of tickets sells out the prices will increase.

If you have e-tickets, you can go directly to Preston Park to collect your wristband.

Pride Village Party tickets

The Pride Village Party will see businesses across St James St & Marine parade in Kemptown come together to celebrate pride.

Tickets for Saturday have sold out online but there are still tickets for Sunday available, from £17.50. A weekend ticket costs £30.

Pride Village Party tickets will also be available at the office, subject to availability. All e-tickets must be exchanged for wristbands at the box office at Victoria Gardens.
