Sweet Pea-perennial. This aggressive climbing plant is very long-lived. Grows 5-6' and spreads considerably. A mix of pink, lavender, and white sweet pea blooms appear in summer and keep blooming past frost. Sweet peas are not edible, all parts are poisonous.

Germination: 7-14 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 55-65ºF, soaking seeds overnight aid the germination

Seed Planting Depth: Sow ½” deep

Starting Indoors: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting outdoors in early to mid-spring. Provide 65-75ºF soil temperatures until germination. Transplant 4-6” apart.

Care:  Grows best in cool mild climates, mulching helps keep roots cool and moist. Pinch to encourage branching, harvest often to encourage more flowers. Amend the soil with compost before transplanting. Apply a liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks
